◇ FACT-CHECK PENDINGSome lives are remembered.
Some become part of who we are.

Photoluminescent pigment absorbs light through the day and releases it slowly in the dark. On this design it is used in exactly two places — the outline of Karnataka that holds his portrait, and his signature. By day the dial is simply silver. When the lights go down, what remains is the land he belonged to and the name he signed.
LUME REGIONS AS SHOWN IN THE REFERENCE DESIGN · FINAL LUMINANCE TO BE MEASURED ON PROTOTYPE
Gents and ladies · three proposed variations · details pending confirmation
A silver sunray dial, framed in polished steel and set on tan leather. At twelve and six, the hours are written in Kannada — ೧೨ and ೬ — in rose gold, the same tone as the hands.
His portrait sits within the outline of Karnataka, tonal and quiet, so the dial reads first as a watch. At three o'clock, his signature.
Only the outline and the signature carry lume. Nothing else glows. The design asks for nothing more than that: in the dark, the shape of home, and his name.
